Since 2020

Ourstory.

Factory Karts began with one goal: a race kart with a stronger, more consistent frame. Here’s how a first prototype became an American-made range raced in the USA and the UK.

01 — The timeline

From first frame to Phoenix.

  1. 2020

    The first frame

Factory Karts set out to build a better racing kart: fast, but with a frame made with more integrity and consistency than racers were used to — for professionals and weekend racers alike. The first frame was built that year.

  2. 2021

    A first small batch

A small production run went racing, mostly at local and regional events. The experience and data from that season set the direction for everything that followed.

  3. 2022

    Onto the national stage

The brand arrived nationally, taking its first national win on the SKUSA Pro Tour and starting a run of results across SKUSA Pro Tour and Stars series events.

  4. 2023

    Growing up

Another winning season — and growth in sales and in the dealer network to match. At the end of the year the company changed hands, with production continuing in southern California.

  5. 2024

    A new home in Phoenix

The new owners brought more resources and production capacity. At the end of 2024 the factory moved to a modern facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with new departments and the staff to run them for the long term.

  6. Today

    Factory Karts 2.0

A reboot of the whole company, built on continuous improvement — from the production floor to the full range — with proper pre-sales and after-sales service behind every kart.

  7. UK

    Factory Karts UK

In partnership with Factory Karts in the USA, the range is now sold, supported and raced in the UK — with spares in UK stock and the team trackside at every race weekend on our calendar.

02 — The team

The people behind it.

A small team that covers the whole journey — from the boardroom to the factory floor and the race track.

OwnershipDuke

A business owner with a broad portfolio and a US military veteran. Duke gives the team strong oversight and backs the vision of an American-made racing chassis.

ManagementJustin

Runs the day-to-day operation, bringing production management and a deep understanding of karting. His rule: simple, functional products of the highest quality — quality over quantity.

Competition & developmentBilly

A race winner, champion and coach who also works on the factory floor. Billy is the link between the track and production, so what works at speed goes straight into the next design.

03 — How it’s made

Designed, built, raced.

  1. 01
DesignIdeas are reviewed by the team, modelled in SOLIDWORKS, then built as samples that go through quality control and track testing before sign-off.
  2. 02
ManufacturingFibre-laser tube cutting and CNC tube bending for a precise fit, finish welding by hand, then a proprietary paint finish.
  3. 03
Finished goodsEvery product is assembled and checked by quality control before it is packed and shipped.
  4. 04
CompetitionRacing and testing never stop: results and data from real events decide what changes next.
